So if you've for children with any kind puff social life or you spend more than five minutes outside EVER, I'd suggest investing in one of these amazing towels!!
They say dynamite comes in small packages and they weren't kidding when they describe something like this amazing towel. This thing starts out in a package that's about an inch thick & ends up in a full sized towel. It's soft, super absorbent and dries so fast!! This is truly a must have for any active person!

Art Supply week continued!!!! Lol well so once again, U.S. Art Supply has sent me yet another GREAT little kit of brushes.
Both of my daughters are burgeoning artists and then my 3 year old is like any 3 year old and loves to paint. I love the quality and tons of uses I feel like I get every time I add another set of these brushes to my collection.  I liked that these brushes included a palette knife as well because my middle daughter Ella and I have been working with acrylics. The palette knife is nice to have to teach her how to mix colors as well as how to use with a palette correctly. I home school my children and with these brushes, i feel like I'm just as capable of teaching them art as any school program.

I love my dog, a lot! I mean, I've never been much of a dog person but every now and then a cute little dog catches my heart & I would bend over backwards for it. To the point that I've missed out on nice places to live because they wouldn't allow dogs!! My daughters love my dog and she loves them too! She's protective of my girls and she's the best alarm in the world!! We like to take her on trips to our friend's houses and to the park. One thing I don't like is feeling like I've got to pack up my dogs stuff like she's a little kid to have a run in the park. Having to scramble to find a throw away plastic bowl at my friend's house to make sure I can feed and water her. It's a hassle & I'm constantly looking for things to make my life easier so when I got the chance to review these collapsible travel dog bowls, I was pretty excited!
These bowls are very well designed. First all they came with a ton of cute little extras, some stickers, whistles & handy carabiners to attach them to a back pack or purse even. They collapse completely flat but are so wel made that when they're expanded you don't have too worry about stability. They're durable but light at the same time! I also like that they're different color so I can instruct my daughter to feed or water Sasha out of the red bowl and then she will remember to continue to water her out of the red bowl so there's no food chunks in her water.
These really are some super nice bowls. A good value for the money& they'd als make a great gift for any dog lovers in your life!!

At the Risk of repeating myself I'm doing yet another blog this morning on how stoked I am that I was chosen to review all these amazing art products from U.S. Art Supply.
When it comes down to quality in Art supplies, I've learned that when you cut corners in quality for sake of price, you very what you pay for.
When my daughters first started out drawing and doodling, I remember purchasing those support cheap Art pads from the dollar store and it was great to see how they flew through the pages as they expressed themselves artistically. But as their skill grew, so did their need for higher quality products. Their skill level grew from crayons to color pencils to Copic markers and sakura pens. And the most frustrating thing for an artist, after artistic creativity block is to have skill But inadequate supplies and medium.
That's why I've been so pleased to have the chance to try all these products from U.S. Art Supply is because they have sent me so much quality in every item over received. I loved the big sketchbook for multiple doodles and large character development for my daughter who likes anime and the smaller sketch book is the perfect size for my budding fashion designer. & every item I've received from this company would make a great addition to any beginner or experienced artist kit.

Wow!!! What a week for Art supplies and I'm STILL not done!!! I've really been blessed, considering how much My girls LOVE art, to have received all these Great items to review for little or no cost! If I had to pick the one thing I spend money on More than anything, it'd be sketch books. The thing w/ sketch books is that you want to make sure you're purchasing quality paper products or you end up with 40 scratch pads of junk paper, not because your kids don't appreciate it, they're just not able to draw any quality pictures on junk paper.
When i received these pads, the first thing I noticed that I really liked was that they were bound at the top of the page. I dislike when sketch books are bound at the side because I feel like I'm constantly trying to draw with little metal torture instruments strapped to the side.
These Pads are GREAT for using with different types of medium and I love that the sharpies even have a hard time bleeding thru!
These are great books for the beginner our experienced artists!

It's art supply review week so if you're bored reading about art supplies you may want to skip these next few blogs lol
So U.S. Art Supply has done it yet again and sent me out some amazing brushes!! I've received a few different sets of brushes and each one would be a great addition to any experienced or beginner's brush set.
The set I'm reviewing now is the 15 brush set. There are 11 short handled brushes and four long handled brushes but I like that they're all easy to use even for children. It's a good assortment of brushes for oil, acrylic or water colors. Since I'm a beginning artist, I like to experiment with different mediums. I also like to give the kids an option to explore different mediums and these are a good set of brushes to do that with...
All of the brushes I've received from this company have been labeled/numbered but I especially like that these have colored marks on the bottom as well so when I get a particular look that I like or I'm looking for a particular brush I've used before, I don't have to remember what# it was. These are some really great products!!!!

I live in a house full of budding artists. My 12 year old is a comic designing, manga drawing, character developing genius. Her 9 year old sister is a budding fashionista who designs clothes like she's the next Versace...or Mary Kate & Ashley!!
When you live in a house of artists, good sketch paper is a Must!! My kids get excited when they get new sketch books for their birthdays and the request I get more than anything when I ask what they want for their birthday is " art supplies" ! Which is why I'm so glad that U.S. art supply has offered me quite a few items for review lately including a series of beautiful sketch books.
I really like these books because they're well bound, I'm not worried about the paper falling out after the first time you use it which is something you worry about from cheap sketch books. Also, the paper is thick enough that it can be used with many different types of mediums- pencil, pens, markers and even water colors without bleeding through which is great when you've got enough art supplies to rival hobby lobby and I'm NOT exaggerating!!
These are definitely some high quality art supplies and you'd be doing any budding or experienced artists a favor when you pick These up!!!

As a lot of you know, I'm a bit of a nerd. I read comic books devoted to Ray Bradbury, I raise tropical Dubia roaches to feed to my geckos and I home school my daughters so our life is one big science experiment. I've hard of the odor dispelling wonders of charcoal and then I received some charcoal bag deodorizer to review so I wanted to know how it worked.
Carbon is a lot of things including porous. It has a lot of tiny holes and odor molecules get trapped in these tiny holes. Charcoal is an EXCELLENT source of carbon because it's got such a large surface area which means it's got a huge capacity to absorb odors. And it works!! Up against something as stinky as a dirty diaper!!

So as I've mentioned before I'm Not super worried about skin care products but there are a few things that I do like to try and one of them is eye serum.
Something I've always struggled with is dark under eye circles. I applied this product around my eyes at night before bed and I noticed a definite decrease in eye puffiness and dark circles the next day. I only used it consistently for about a week and even though I was sick, I received compliments on how I looked. I also liked that it came with a cute little zipper bag and an extra little tube of moisturizer. Check it out!!

So while I'm not overly worried about my skin or aging, whenever I get invited to review a skin product I like to give them a shot because I never know when I'll find something that I really like. With that said, I've actually been looking for a mask to try so I was pretty excited when I was given the chance to review this.
This mask is slap full of natural products like aloe Vera, Japanese green tea extracts, organic rose hip oil, silk protein amino acid, organic sea buckthorn oil & it's paraben & alcohol free which means it won't dry out or irritate your skin.
When I opened the tub of cream, the first thing I noticed was that it looked exactly like mashed up mango and not only did it look like mango but it smelled like mango. I really like mango so it was hard resisting the urge to lick my finger after I dipped it into the tub. Needless to say, it smelt great. I wasn't 100% sure how to do a mask So I applied a LOT of it and then I sat & sat & sat & sat. It said 15-30 minutes and I probably sat for about 35-40. It warns you that it may tingle slightly and I felt a definite sensation but I wouldn't call it as much a tingle as a warming sensation. After the time recommended, I washed it off with warm water and once my skin dried I could notice a difference. My skin seemed fuller & brighter.
Like I said, I was looking for a mask and I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

So I was offered top review this toiletry bag and anyone who is close to me knows that I've had kind of a rough year and ended up having to put a lot of my stuff into storage. One thing I've struggled with is what to do with the items the girls and I need to bathe. So when I was given the chance to review this item, I was ecstatic. 

The irony is, the day I received the bag I went out to visit with friends and this thing saved my butt!! I was able to fit everything my daughters and I would need for the weekend's showers into the bag. If you travel a lot I'd definitely pick one of these up!

A little back story:all three of my daughters were born early but my youngest daughter was born at 29 weeks which ended up in a 9  week NICU stay. They make special necklaces or bracelets for NICU babies and the starter bead is a turtle which stands for "slow and steady wins the race". Last year in April, my friend Ashley's son Talon was born at 26 weeks and has spent the last 9 months fighting for his life so when I received these 'Turtle' clips, I knew exactly who I was going to give them to.
These little clips are awesome!! They're well made & super cute! We also like that she can use these clips with Talon, even with his trach and ventilator on and things don't very tangled up....

Well, like I said I've been BEYOND Super busy trying to get caught up with what I got behind during my illness. A lot of these items I received before I got sick but I do truly like to try them out before I post about them and with me being so sick, I wasn't able to.
I really liked these little clips. They were listed as boy clips but I have found that they were fairly ambiguous in their design. I like that they've got a ' toddler' proof clip, you've got to flip open the top of the clip in order to get the actual mouth to open. I felt like that would cut down on a lot of pinched Frankie fingers lol
All in all, these were some super nice clips and I really enjoyed receiving them for review!

This has been kind of a rough week for me, I've been really sick and every time I thought I was over it, I'd try to get up & do something and it'd knock me on my butt again!!! But I'm back and I've got a lot of blogs to catch up on so now I'm super busy!!
I actually received these bottles a few weeks ago & we didn't have the chance to use them until a few days ago. When I received them, I thought they were supposed to be used in the kitchen but I found that they weren't easy for me to use in the kitchen.
I decided to try to use them for travel toiletry items and then the girls went to visit their dad for the night. I didn't want them to have to carry two huge bottles of shampoo and conditioner so I decided that this would be a perfect time to try them out.
I filled them before the girls left and made sure to adjust the labels on the bottles so they'd know what was in each bottle and then when they came home I questioned them if they'd been easy to use or not. The girls really enjoyed using them and they were simple enough that they didn't get confused which was shampoo or conditioner.
I'd say that if you travel or camp often, these little bottles will be a great addition to any toiletry kit!!

Good morning world, I'm BAAAACCCCKKK!! Lol so I'm over my head cold that left me virtually comatose for a week and I'm getting caught up on muy blogs.
I received a really great cleanser while I wasn't feeling  well but honestly I couldn't even get out of bed to use it. Well when I finally did, I was BEYOND pleasantly surprised!! First, it has NO:minerals, petroleum, parabens, sulfites or propylene glycol which are all big No Nos for our skin. It does have hyaluronic acid, pomegranate and green tea extracts which are GREAT for our skin!! And it makes my skin so soft and radiant!! Check it out!!

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a girly girl...as a matter our fact, if I was a super hero, I'd be anti- girl! Lol but I've been blessed with three beautiful, feminine, sweet girls who have taught me to at least embrace my feminine side.
One thing that I've found I like to do with my girls is manicures/pedicures, even If you don't get fake tips applied, it's still nice to clean your hands & nails up, exfoliate your rough skin on your feet and put some polish on your nails.

I've been given the option to review a few tools lately for manicures/pedicures for adults and kids. What I like about these files is that they're mini sized, it's easy for small hands to use and they're small enough to slip into a purse or gift bag and I think a little girl would be super happy with these. Also, there's a LOT of them in the package so you get your money's worth.

 don't know about y'all but my lighting situation drives me CRAZY! The over head lighting is too much but the bedside lamp isn't enough. I'm constantly telling my girls to turn off the overhead light but then I've got to struggle to see what I'm coloring or checking on my feeder insects. Yes I said feeder insects lol
So I was excited when I was offered the chance to review this lamp.
The lamp comes with two different types of light, cool and warm, and they both have six levels of brightness to choose from. Also, the way you adjust the light is by a touch sensitive sensor on the base...I may just be nerding out here but sometimes when I use it I feel like I should be saying "engage" in my best Captain Picard voice...and yes I did just throw a random Star Trek reference in there lol I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the lamp had two USB plugs in the side of it. Now that's convenient!!!
I love the range of motion that the lamp itself has. It's very flexible yet sturdy and well made at the same time. I don't have to worry about it falling once I've got it in position. This lamp is GREAT!!

So my family and I are pretty crafty and when I wad offered the chance to review these brushes, I was excited. I was surprised to see that they included a round sponge and sketching pencil as an extra. Ella has been using them to practice with watery colors and she likes that they're not so big she has trouble working with them. I like that they are the perfect size to work with these tiny 2x2 canvases I purchased at Christmas time. These are some great little brushes!!

I'm back again and I'm really sick so this may not be a very long review. Having three little girls, I'm always looking for things to help with grooming and to make slumber parties entertaining. So I've been offered the chance, over the past few weeks, to review a few fun, nice manicure tools. I really liked these little sponges, especially for doing the girls nails because they were so small. They weren't too rough that I had to worry about damaging their tender cuticles but they were big enough to get the job done effectively. We definitely enjoyed them.

So I usually Don't bring too much personal stuff into my blog but I'm a recovering addict. Part of my lifestyle change has been attempting to live healthier. I'm not on a diet but a complete change in my life. So when I was given the chance to review this item, I was pretty happy. Them once I saw what it did, I was really excited. First, while I didn't use it for this purpose, you can make zucchini noodles that are supposed to be healthier than regular spaghetti noodles. We used it to make cucumber spirals for our salads. We loved it, it was a lot of fun and easy to clean up.

As a mother of a pubescent teenager and someone who suffers from skin irritations/allergies, I've found that the best thing in the fight against blemishes, after prevention is a good skin care tool kit.
For a while now I've had a ' zit picker', a metal tool that applies a small area of pressure around the blemish that helps out escape from under the skin without causing a sore or introducing bacteria to the skin, unlike using your fingers, which can cause a sore or an infection. I like to clean the skin with warm water and then use the tools and then clean the skin again to remove the pus/waste products. The only thing I don't like about using the one tool I've got is sometime it's not specific enough for the blemish I'm removing. So when I was given the chance to review this item, I jumped at the chance.
this little set is AMAZING!!! It has everything you might need in order to remove the blemish in even the trickiest of spots! I use almost every tool in this set to clear up mine and my daughter's skin. I've also noticed it cuts down on the little sores that can occur when you attempt to remove blemishes the old fashioned way. Plus they come in this handy little carrying case!

I'm back again!! & this time I've got a book review for you this time. I just got done reading the Sorcery Code by Dima Zales & initially I didn't think I was going to like it. The opening scene has a naked woman appearing in a sorcerer's lab. I enjoy a good zombie book, some science fiction ( paging L. Ron & H.P. Lovecraft lol) horror ( hello, have you met me?!) lol & fantasy or suspense but romance stuff isn't really my cup of tea. I will say though that after the initial scene, any love scenes were modest and left a lot to the imagination. There was some kissing and a few intimate scenes but the author truly did focus more on character development than titillating love scenes.
The story begins in a land where the ruling class are sorcerers who maintain control over the commoners by keeping their magical spells under strict secrecy. There has been a drought in the land which has led to peasant uprisings against the sorcerers which is then defeated by the royal guard.
The main character Blaise wants to create an item that will make casting spells easier but then it backfires on him when he creates Gala, a magical being from the spell realm who takes the shape of a beautiful woman. The story follows Gala in her exploration of the world, her magical abilities and the chaos that occurs.
The story ends with a lot of loose ends & while I didn't think I'd enjoy it, I found myself wanting to read the sequel. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 8.

It's me again & I wanted to share this interesting new item I've received to review. It's a battery operated, handheld electric can opener. I was wary of how well it would work considering It's battery powered but it worked surprisingly well. I keep rechargeable batteries So I just keep a few in the drawer in the kitchen anyways. Well this little tool had no problem opening everything I threw at it for a week without slowing down. It also opens the cans on the side which eliminates the sharp edges on the can. This little power house is well worth the money!!

Any mother with a child under the age of eight has seen these fruit in squeezable pouches. And if you've seen them, then you also know how expensive they can be. So when I was given a chance to review these super neat re-sealable squeeze pouches, I was ecstatic!!
I really liked the fact that I can  use any puree that I like inside them. They're pretty easy to refill, it is a learning process and as long as you rinse them pretty quick after they're empty, they're really easy to clean...my little girls LOVE them!!

So lately I've been given the chance to review quite a bit of face care type items that I've been glad to review because although I'm told I've got a baby face I am getting older.
So I became interested in vitamin c in face care after reading different studies that vitamin c can help with a myriad of things from helping boost collagen production to making your SPF more effective against preventing sun damage. So I usually really like it when I get the chance to try these products with vitamin c in them.
So first a little bit about Vitamin c in skin care products. Vitamin c in products can increase your collagen production which means firmer, smoother skin. It can help reduce inflammation and breakouts which cause a whole other area of problems such as scarring or imperfections in our skin, well vitamin c helps reduce or eliminate those areas of irritation. It can help eliminate the dark spots that come with sun damage and it also brightens and evens skin tone. A good quality product with Vitamin C can do wonders for your skin!
When I received this product, one thing I noticed the first time I tried to use it was that it's very sticky until it dries, like almost uncomfortably sticky. Once it dries the stickiness goes away but I didn't like the stickiness. Besides that, the serum is great! I noticed effects after about the second use and it does seem to make my skin brighter and tighter.
So out of all the products that I've tried, I wasn't super fond of this one but it was just because of the stickiness of the product and honestly the results were worth the stickiness!

So while I've been blessed with pretty good skin throughout my life, now that I'm getting older I worry about the damage I've inflicted on my skin. Well something I've found that works pretty well for me is this hyaluronic avid serum. When i use it, I notice an evening out of my skin tone and a brightening of my skin.
I rub it in until it is thoroughly absorbed in a circular motion starting on my neck until it's absorbed. I am working on a final skin care solution that I want to share with my readers once I've got it figured out!!

It's me again and this morning I want to talk about the chance I had to review the Barbie Surprize Qube. These little things are super neat! They came with some stickers to decorate the cube, some type of small toy the girls could put together and some candy. I loved how they have a building block design so you could stack them together and incorporate them into your free play. They weren't quite what I was expecting but they were nice!!

When I first began getting into reptiles, I wasn't 100% sure exactly what their requirements were and of course each reptile family requires different requirements because they come from different parts of the world. One thing all reptiles require is heat! Being cold blooded, they depend on external heat sources to regulate their body temperature and if they get too cold they'll die.
 My first reptiles that I've loved were desert reptiles, Leopard geckos and bearded dragons. But even though they're both from the desert, the different species need different things. I got my first leopard geckos around a year ago and one thing I knew they needed was gradient heat under their belly to facilitate digestion. I've used heat pads with thermostats One way you can check to see if the animals are getting the correct heat is to use a laser termperature gauge but they can get kind of expensive, especially when you're buying a professional one. I've noticed the little gauges they have for sale in the box pet stores are ok for measuring air temp but not very good for measuring under tank heat {UTH).
The first one of these laser gauges I was given as a gift and it was nice but it didn't come with instructions. When I received this laser and it had the instructions I was amazed at all the things it could do. It can grade the differences in one area to to next, give you the averages between two areas and the difference in degrees over a period of time. It's also got a back light and a ton of different settings!!

I've been a busy little beaver the last few days getting some blogs and reviews done and I've got a million more coming due but I'll try not to overwhelm you lol
So I was offered to review the Microwick Microfiber towel at a deeply discounted price. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it and it was a full sized towel. Feeling the material I was wary of how well it would dry but I was curious to see how it would work. Because I am a plus size woman, and I'm in the process of moving I don't have any bath towels smaller than a beach towel or bath sheet and any bigger than dish towels. Sometimes I like to wash my hair in the sink b/c it's gotten really long and it's kind of a pain to condition it in the bath. When I do that I find myself with out a towel suitable to put it up into while it's drying so I decided to use that towel for this purpose.
I noticed that while my hair was in it, it seemed nearly dry when I pulled it out and then I hung it to dry and it was nearly completely dry an hour later when my daughter used it to wash her hair. While I only used it to dry my hair, I definitely feel like it would be sufficent to dry my whole body. I love how big it is but it's super light weight!!

So I have been feeling my age a bit lately and knowing with every day I'm getting closer to 40 YES 40, I have been concerned with taking care of my skin. A few weeks ago I reviewed the Joyal Face wash and since then I was given the chance to review the face cream as well.
Since I've been using it, I've been getting a lot of compliments on my skin and complexion. I have noticed a difference in the fact that my dark circles have started to decrease and my skin feels much softer. I love that it has things like coconut oil and rosehips in it and that it is 70% organic.
When I use it, I squirt a small amoiunt onto the tips of my fingers and massaging in a gentle, circular motion starting at my neck and working upwards. Immediately afterwards, it takes a while for the product to absorb but it makes my skin so soft and smooth once it does!

So my kids went through a phase where they wanted to save the world, one plastic bag at a time! LOL It was a phase that didn't last long but what it did leave me with was a house full of the reusable totes that are almost as annoying as a drawer full of the plastic grocery bags. I received this super cute and compact mobile charger for free to review. I really like it too!! It is well made and I like the design. I love that it can charge a tablet for the kids while it's charging my phone. That is always an issue when traveling with kids is that you can't charge your phone while you're charging anything else and most car chargers just aren't powerful enough to charge the Kindle. So I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged this little bad boy in and it did both!!!
The design is sleek and I love that it has the textured edge because of the issues I've got with my hands because of MS, it makes it easy to grip to remove. You definitely get your money's worth and want to give this little goodie a try!!!

So as part of my New Year, New Me ideals, I'm not calling them resolutions because I started them before the new year and it's a lifestyle change, not resolution, I've been trying to get healthier. One of the things I decided I was going to start doing was eating healthier. So when I was given the oppurtunity to review these beauty bursts I was really happy!! I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, they're a bit like the smoothie starburst that came out a while ago, kind of fruity but creamy at the same time. It's a really nice mix. I love that they have things in them like collagen, hyaluronic acid and vitamin c for healthy skin and nails. I feel like my skin and nails have definitely improved since I've been taking them. Give them a try, they're really yummy!!

We found a fun new toy to play with and it is a stage light. It is sound reactive and has led lights around the base. I am LOVING this little thing. The girls use it as their personal dance party light and I can't wait until the first time we have a slumber party or birthday so we can use this thing with all the little kids. It's small but powerful. I love it!! It's got led lights in the base which last forever and it's sound reactive!!

New measuring cups make my day!

Hello All!!!
So I'm in the process of moving into a new house with some friends of mine and when I was offered the chance to review these cups for free, I was super excited!
I've never really used metal measuring cups, always glass or plastic but I was really impressed with how well these cups are made. They're very easy to clean and I love the little rubber/silicone grips on the handle. They come on a ring that allows you to separate them easily for use but keeps it super easy to keep them together. They are well labeled and come so you could make any combination of measurements you may need. I've never known exactly how much mix and milk I use when making my dumplings but tonight the cups made it so I didn't over pour milk or flour while I was making them. The consistency was perfect!!
If you;'re in the market for some cute new additions to your kitchen you can't go wrong with these beautiful, well made cups!
