Here we are once again talking about an amazing item I received for free or deeply discounted for my honest review and it's chalk markers again!!!! This time they weren't super fancy colored markers, just plain white but we still had a blast with them and found a MILLION uses for them because of the nifty little re-stick chalk marker tags they came with.
So for the past week we've been remodeling our room. I fell on hard times a while ago and even though I'm in the process of picking myself back up, I'm still living in small quarters with my 3 little girls, so space is at a PREMIUM!!! We've got these reusable big plastic totes that we fill with clothes, shoes, craft supplies, etc but I always find myself asking "What's in here?!?!?" Well, with these nifty little reusable tags that came with this set of markers, the fact that they can be re-stuck AND re-written on has made our organization time a BREEZE!! I could see these being UBER useful in a craft room!!
With that said, I did notice that when we tried to play with them on glass surfaces and on the side of our fridge that there was a little bit of staining when I left it up overnight. It did seem a little harder to clean up but I'm sure if you waited til it dried instead of using Windex and removing it wet it may be a bit easier but I was working with an impatient three and nine year old! I would just be wary of what surface I used it on but any crafter worth her salt knows to do a patch test first.

First of all I want to say I'm in an AMAZING mood, for more reasons than I care to share in a review blog so I will come back to that in a personal blog a little later but I am OVER the MOON ecstatic with life right now so that may come thru in my blog lol
I have been receiving quite a few items for free or deep;y discounted to review and I received the Oz Sea infused moisturizer to try and it is WONDERFUL!!! Ok so I get told quite a bit I've got a baby face or I look young for my age, which of course I LOVE to hear, but we are all our own worst critics and I have begun to see a little age on my face. Especially when I'm tired...so I decided to give this moisturizer a try and I've got to say that it is comparable to some more expensive moisturizers I've tried before.
In order to just get the benefits from the moisturizer, I washed my face with plain Dove soap. I've got some face washes I feel have a 'brightening' effect when I use them so I just wanted to get an idea of what the moisturizer could do without using any of my brightening type face washes. I guess you could say I wanted a clean palette lol So I washed my face and applied the moisturizer and I can say that it is truly very effective!!! I usually use Phase Three by Aura Science, which I discovered is discontinued, and this is a GREAT lotion that I'd compare to my usual moisturizer.
The moisturizer is light and non greasy. I applied to item to my clean, dry skin in a circular motion with my fingertips. It almost seems to tingle but in a good way. I like that I can feel the lotion absorbing into my skin. It takes about 2 minutes to thoroughly absorb but as soon as it's done, my skin is baby soft, my pores are minimized and it seems like my skin tone seems more even but that's what I expect out of any good moisturizer.
The lotion has vitamin c, algae keratin extract and blueberry extract. The info that I've been reading on vitamin c and blueberry extracts is that is acts as a collagen builder which is what keeps your skin looking full and young! I think it's really cute that my three year old likes to rub my face while she's going to sleep and the nights since I've been using this moisturizer, she has started rubbing my cheeks!
So to all my beautiful women of the internets world, this is a moisturizer that will give you your money's worth!!

It's Ms. Dez again coming to you to tell you about this SPLENDID item that I received for free or deeply discounted to review:the Bath Fun Time Bath Toy Organizer.
I was REALLY impressed with the extras you get with this bag. It came with a handful of toys, without going back to check, I think I was 5, the bag with suction cups attached, 2 pressure sensitive suction cups and 2 little loofah/poofs. with that said, I have been, disappointed at best, by other bath toy organizers I've gotten before. You clean the area, dampen the suction cup, apply it to the wall and then spend the next 2 years adjusting the silly thing!! When I received this product, I waited until the next day when it was bath time to attach it to the wall. I cleaned the area with bleach spray and a sponge and applied it to a clean surface. I then tried to decide which toys I was going to put in it because, in my mind, there was NO WAY all of my little girls bath toys were going to fit in there because no matter how big the net is, the suction cups usually aren't very sturdy. So I started putting toys in it and ended up not only fitting all her BIG boats and such into the actual net, but the suction cups provided enough stability to hold at least four pounds worth of bath items. I love knowing that her toys are getting dry after bath time, not staying wet and possibly mildewed which is money out the window when you've got to throw them away!! This little item is definitely worth the money!!
If you're like me, you're constantly looking for things to keep you organized, clean and make life easier! Well, this thing is a miracle and well worth the money!!

Hello Hello! It's me again, your newest favorite internet blogger and boy have I been BUSY BUSY lately. On top of my 3 year old being sick, I've had a ton of reviews come in and now I'm literally finishing up 2/ day and trying not to overwhelm my readers!!
So I am reviewing the Toddler Pillow case I received from Angel Direct Products and 1st I want to say this, I LOVE dealing with the folks at Angel Direct, they're super nice and really easy to work with. I am really just starting out doing this and I've had the pleasure of reviewing 2 of their products in the past few weeks.
The Toddler Pillow case I received is 100% cotton with a 400 thread count and it also comes with a lifetime warranty. It's soft, luxurious and absolutely beautiful! I can truly say that it is an elegant addition to any nursery or child's bedroom! I put this pillow case on an old character pillow that Frankie had actually quit using, when I put this case on she has started using it again every night. It's become a night time mission to find her dummy, find her pillow and get her tucked in. And not only is it a truly classy pillow case but it's very well made!! Like I stated in the beginning of this review, I've been dealing with an extremely sick baby who had spilled her sippy cup or coughed up RED cold medicine onto it, and I've thrown it in the washer with no worries about it fraying or coming apart!
This is truly an elegant, luxurious, and beautiful addition to any nursery and you can buy it with peace of mind because it comes with a lifetime warranty!!

I know I have been posting a LOT of reviews lately but I've been a busy bee right here after Christmas and I've been blessed to receive quite a few items for free or deeply discounted to offer my honest review. And anyone who knows me, knows that I don't pull any punches, I tell it how it is with constructive criticism.
With that said, I freaking LOVE this MAT!!!!! Ok so when I received it it seemed to be made of a gel or slightly mushy medium with a blue cloth cover. When I received it, It was shipped folded into thirds so that's exactly how I popped it into the freezer.
 I was delighted to find that as well as the cloth cover that is sewn around it, it also comes with a removable, washable case as well. When I pulled it out of the freezer, I was surprised to find that it was flexible. I honestly expected it to be hard to flatten out to put into it's washab;e case but it was really easy to put into the case.
Due to my multiple sclerosis, I suffer from headaches, carpal tunnel, spasms in my neck and shoulders among other places, and insomnia which contributes to my fatigue which is probably one of my most crippling symptoms. My daughters also suffer from complaints such as stomach issues, severe menstrual cramps and headaches. We found that this little mat worked wonders anywhere you used it. My middle daughter has actually taken it hostage and I had to wrestle it away from her to do my youtube post earlier lol

So I had the pleasure of once again letting my partner in crime and junior blogger, Ella, help me out with a review when I was given the Teenie toe separators for free to review. Living in a house with three little girls, my house is one big pretend salon...as a matter of fact, someone is practicing french braiding my hair while I type this! One of the irritating things I experience is that I've got a three year old who LOVES getting her toes painted but as soon as their done she takes off through the house which totally messes up the beautiful job I've done on her toes...Well beautiful to me anyway! But when we used these things not only did it keep her toes separated but it actually helped me to keep her from running around until I took them off, I really like that there are a lot included in the pack and they're reusable!
So if you've got little ones who're into mani/pedis or you're planning a slumber party with a salon theme, these would be a splendid idea!

So About two days before Christmas I found myself drenched in the parking lot of a local store. I have never been able to find an umbrella up to this point that I can use easily so when I was given the chance to review the Crown Coast Umbrella for free I figured I'd give it a shot. Well this umbrella is AMAZING!! I have found it to be made of nice, sturdy materials and it's very well made. One of the things I like the most is the fact that not only do you open it with one button but you collapse it with one button. I find that it's super easy to collapse with my MS giving me a hard time with my hands...

In my quest to find the newest and neatest craft type things, I requested to receive a set of Linkyo chalk markers for deeply discounted or free to review for this blog. Well one thing I've always prided myself on is truthful reviews no matter what. I will give my honest opinion of something no matter what-With that said-These markers are AWESOME!!!! I mean, there's SO much that you could do with these markers.
Ok so when I got them it was pretty cold outside so I was worried about immediately messing with them because the ink was cold but we brought them in and had them working within ten minutes. They're super easy to get started. You press the tip a few times to relieve the pressure then you shake them for about 15 seconds vertically (up & down) then you press the tip on a hard surface, we used the marker cap, until the ink starts to flow. And one the ink starts to flow it really goes a LONG way!
So we played with them in a few different places, the bathroom mirror, the ebdroom on out mini fridge, we drew on our windows and also on the front of our stainless steel fridge and let me tell you, these things are SUPER easy to clean up. While you're using them I found a little bit of Windex on a paper towel worked and then once they've dried, they wipe up with just a dry paper towel.
These things are BRIGHT!! And the Linkyo company includes a pretty nice assortment of colors.
Now if you leave it on the surface for too long, it does seem to leave a bit of staining but I've noticed that with most chalk or dry erase markers. Also the consistency of the color is going to be different depending on which type of surface you're coloring on but that's just common sense.
So the consensus here at the Romper Room is that we love them!!

One of my biggest issues when I'm chilling at the house is the feeling that I'm tethered to the wall when I am charging my phone. It felt like some kind of wizard magic while I was using the set of blue tooth headphones that freed me from carrying my phone around while I'm doing chores. Well I received a free 10 foot droid charging cable and it's AMAZING!! the cord seems to stretch forever and it's made in the flat style which seems a bit more flexible than the round cords. Unfortunately now my 9 year old side kick has stolen it from me and I may never see it again lol

Just a quickie today-

So I've been asked by people "What are you hoping to achieve with your blog?" or "What do you think you have to say that's so important that will make people listen?" Well my whole life I've been known as a talker or a social butterfly, I love to share my advice, wisdom and ideas about stuff with people. Over the past few years since my diagnosis and subsequent disability, I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands. I've suffered through and now am in recovery for a very severe addiction to prescription pain meds and now that I'm in recovery I need something CONSTRUCTIVE to do with my free time!! I chose to do a review blog because I thought it would be a FUN way to share some of my insight with people without it being so serious. I can't say it's not going to be serious at times but really this is a way for me to have fun with a large audience. SO what I want to hear from you is what interesting things are you into? What would you like to see me review? I'm looking for new and fun things to do with my family that won't break the bank and what we've gotten into lately have been art & crafts. Hello All!!!
 I'm starting this blog thing to share what keeps me entertained, organized and most of all SANE! I decided to share something that has really REALLY REEEAAAALLLLLYY struck my fancy as of late ADULT COLORING BOOKS!!! I love them! So I decided to share some that have really impressed me.
As soon as I get into Hobby Lobby I have a tractor beam that strikes me like I'm trying to escape from the death star or something lol There's a brand of books under the brand name Creative Haven and while their single books are a bit pricey (I've paid between $6-$9 for a single book) they have a collection of four books in one that are usually around $16 & that's a GREAT deal because these books are huge. As a matter of fact, unless you develop a sick fascination with collecting them, like I have, then you won't have to buy another book for a while. The books are large and have a good mix of really detailed pictures that take me a few days, but that may just be because I've got crap for hand eye coordination (Thank you Multiple Sclerosis!!!!) and some that aren't as detailed that can be completed in a night.

The Pictures are really beautiful and there's a few I've worked on with the intent of framing. They've got a TON of subjects that I've seen from Mystic mandalas to dreamscapes to old fashioned hand fans (one of my personal favorites). They are printed only on one side of the paper and the paper stock is really nice and thick so there's not really any chance of coloring thru even if you use marker but I tear them out or use another piece of paper between the one I'm drawing on and the one underneath just in case. I've also found them at Hobby Lobby, Michael's and I even thought I saw one at Walmart but I think that may have been a fluke because I've never seen another one. 

On a personal side note, I am a recovering addict and have found these fans to be FANTASTIC for clearing my mind and relaxation when I'm feeling a bit stressed. I've also shared these books with the director of my out patient treatment clinic and we have "art groups" where we sit around coloring during our group therapy sessions. 

Next time be on the look out for a review of the nifty gel pens I picked up from big lots for a STEAL!!!
