First of all I want to say I'm in an AMAZING mood, for more reasons than I care to share in a review blog so I will come back to that in a personal blog a little later but I am OVER the MOON ecstatic with life right now so that may come thru in my blog lol
I have been receiving quite a few items for free or deep;y discounted to review and I received the Oz Sea infused moisturizer to try and it is WONDERFUL!!! Ok so I get told quite a bit I've got a baby face or I look young for my age, which of course I LOVE to hear, but we are all our own worst critics and I have begun to see a little age on my face. Especially when I'm tired...so I decided to give this moisturizer a try and I've got to say that it is comparable to some more expensive moisturizers I've tried before.
In order to just get the benefits from the moisturizer, I washed my face with plain Dove soap. I've got some face washes I feel have a 'brightening' effect when I use them so I just wanted to get an idea of what the moisturizer could do without using any of my brightening type face washes. I guess you could say I wanted a clean palette lol So I washed my face and applied the moisturizer and I can say that it is truly very effective!!! I usually use Phase Three by Aura Science, which I discovered is discontinued, and this is a GREAT lotion that I'd compare to my usual moisturizer.
The moisturizer is light and non greasy. I applied to item to my clean, dry skin in a circular motion with my fingertips. It almost seems to tingle but in a good way. I like that I can feel the lotion absorbing into my skin. It takes about 2 minutes to thoroughly absorb but as soon as it's done, my skin is baby soft, my pores are minimized and it seems like my skin tone seems more even but that's what I expect out of any good moisturizer.
The lotion has vitamin c, algae keratin extract and blueberry extract. The info that I've been reading on vitamin c and blueberry extracts is that is acts as a collagen builder which is what keeps your skin looking full and young! I think it's really cute that my three year old likes to rub my face while she's going to sleep and the nights since I've been using this moisturizer, she has started rubbing my cheeks!
So to all my beautiful women of the internets world, this is a moisturizer that will give you your money's worth!!
